No matter how well run the workplace, it will have issues to be dealt with from time to time. If your company has played its cards right, everything you ever needed to know about your workplace and how it should run is spelled out in your contract and in the company handbook.
If you do have a problem, find out what your rights are before you approach your boss so that you’re more likely to be able to avoid disputes. I can’t cover every eventuality in one chapter. so I’ve just picked a few of the problems that can arise. Your nearest CAB or Law Centre can give you much more advice and take your individual circumstances into account.
